Spinal Stenosis affects the spinal nerves. But, while spinal stenosis is a condition that is characterized by narrowing of the spinal canal, it is different from foraminal stenosis.

Foramina stenosis, on the other hand, is characterized by narrowing of foramina, which results in the compression of the nerve roots.

Causes of Spinal Stenosis

Other symptoms are synovial facet cysts and epidural lipomatosis, which is the accumulation of fat in the spinal epidural space.
